The transition area is in the gravel parking lot outside of the pool. Athletes are able to transition in the grassy area outside of the pool. Bikes are racked on a first come first racked fashion. The course has rolling hills.


The run is basically flat with a small incline about 1.5 miles. There is a water station out and back.



  • Why 14 and over? Our course is one to traffic and based on our experience, our course is too difficult for younger athletes.

  • The swim is seeded based on racer submitted swim times with one swimmer entering the water every 15 seconds. Swimmers swim in a serpentine fashion up and down the lanes starting at one side of the pool and finishing at the other
  • Flip turns are prohibited
  • Warm up are allowed in the diving area starting at 6:30AM
  • Can a snorkel be used? Yes, but the participant will not be eligible for prizes.
